Within 50 metres of the Combe Martin beaches you can hire a kayak or stand-up paddleboard from a few of the local Kayak Centres.  These also offer guided tours with a local guide and lessons from British Canoeing qualified instructors.

For visiting paddlers with their own kayaks you can launch your kayaks from a huge variety of beaches and headlands (see the section on Local Beaches on the Mill Park website), there is also the British Canoeing affiliated club - www.combemartinkayakclub.co.uk.

Sea Fishing

Whether it be Sea Fishing from the local beaches or a Fishing Boat Charter from the local quays you will experience some great fishing from the North Devon coastline into the Bristol Channel. There is a local sea tackle fishing shop in Ilfracombe that can assist with local advice, baits and equipment for fishing from the shoreline, as well as a multitude of Sea Fishing Charter boats available from Ilfracombe Quay/Harbour that can take you out.
