Fully Serviced Pitches

Our Fully Serviced pitches include a generous double hardstanding area for the siting of your Caravan/Motorhome and Awning with a large grass section alongside for relaxing upon.  The Fully Serviced Pitches also benefit from; 16Amp power socket, drinking water tap and a grey waste drain. 

Grass Electric Pitches

Grass Electric Pitches at Mill Park are generously sized, level and have a 16Amp dedicated power socket per pitch, with drinking water located close to every pitch.

Camping

Glamping

Glamping at Mill Park is a fantastic way to enjoy the site and local area, but without the hassle of pitching your own tent or towing your caravan to site, giving you instant access to your dry warm Glamping accommodation so you can start your break immediately. Simply pack your car with everything you would normally bring camping – excluding your accommodation. At Mill Park, you have the choice of two different Glamping options; The Lotus Bell Tents and the Glampods. All our Glamping units have a designated car parking space very close to the Glamping units themselves.

Modern Toilets and Showers

Mill Park benefits from two sets of toilet/shower facilities, the first being located between Bottom Field and Lake Field and another located in the Main Amenity Building between Lake Field and Top Field. Our Toilet and Shower facilities are kept fastidiously clean, being thoroughly cleaned twice daily, once in the early morning and again during the late afternoon. Mill Park has a Family Bathroom and Disabled Wet Room. The facilities all benefit from baby changing facilities, free hairdryers, liquid hand soap and eco hand dryers. The facilities are centrally heated year round.

Dog Friendly

Mill Park is very Dog friendly, with a 3 Acre dedicated exercise field, plenty of dog water bowls and hooks around the site with doggy snacks and paraphernalia available in the shop. Dogs are welcome in the Bent Peg Bar. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times, except when on the dog exercise field. Dogs are not permitted within the toilet or shower blocks, doggy hooks are available outside these facilities for securing your dogs. When at your pitches please ensure your dog remains tethered at all times when it is not inside your caravan/motorhome/tent.

Shop & Off Licence

The onsite Shop at Mill Park has a wide selection of local produce and camping essentials for sale, including lots of fresh locally sourced; meats, honey, jams, beers, gins and vodka as well as other local produce. Enjoy freshly baked pastries and savouries with an artisan coffee. There is a selection of commonly purchased staples available in the shop as well as fishing baits and supplies. You can rent camping electric leads and can also exchange your Calor gas bottles.

Bent Peg Bar

Come relax in the Bent Peg Bar and Kitchen. We are Dog Friendly and have spacious comfortable seating both inside and out. With a great selection of beverages and delicious food you will find a warm welcome. A large children’s play area is situated directly outside the Bent Peg, with a spacious carpark onsite.

Takeaway food and drinks are available. We offer a drinks in sealed containers to Takeaway including a selection of Draft Beers, Lagers, Ciders and Real Ales in convenient 2 pint takeaway cartons

Fishing Lake

Bring your Fishing tackle to Mill Park and enjoy the Lake.  A stream fed 1.5 acre coarse fishing lake stocked with Carp and silver fish.  Fish from generous purpose built slabbed fishing pegs with a beautiful sheltered outlook, and lots of local wildlife on show.

Childrens Play Area

The Childrens Play Area opens each day between 8am and 9.30pm, or sundown - whichever is the earlier.

The Childrens Play Area has; swings, slide, climbing farme and picnic tables. 

Children must be supervised at all times, Mill Park staff do not supervise the Childrens Play Area.
Please note there is a stream that runs through Mill Park and alongside the Childrens Play Area.

Internet & WIFI

We provide free and complimentary WiFi internet access using the BT SuperFast Fibre.  The coverage includes both in and around the Bent Peg Bar. Our Internet WiFi does not extend to include coverage on the camping pitches. There is great mobile coverage (both 3G and 4G) across all mobile carriers on the camping pitches.

Electric Vehicle Charging

At Mill Park we are proud supporters of Electric Vehicles.  Our Electric Vehicles Chargers are located in our main car park, next to Reception.  Please follow the instructions on the EV charging point to complete and pay for your vehicle charge.

Laundry and Washup

At Mill Park you have access to coin operated washing machines and tumble dryers located within the Laundry in the Main Amenity building. The washing machines have 9.5kg drum capacities with the tumble dryers having 9kg drum capacities.

There is an ironing board and coin operated steam iron located in the Laundry room. Please see the FAQ's for details on prices and wash cycles.

There are two sets of Washing Up facilities at Mill Park, one located in the Laundry in the Main Amenity Building and a second alfresco facility outside the Bottom Shower Block. Both have plenty of hot water with generous sinks and draining facilities.

Waste and Recycling

Mill Park has tried to make the "nasty" side of camping as easy and hygienic as possible. With specially imported DumpEZ's for the disposal of cassette waste. Low level grey waste disposal points to save our Guests backs, with plenty of hand sanitiser and water/ rinsing taps close by.

Mill Park also has a Recycling Facility where Guests can dispose of their rubbish in a responsible manner, with recycling services available for; Glass, Plastic, Tins, Paper, Cardboard. There are also general waste wheelie bins in the Recycling area.
